Dr Julia B. Hennermann is a prominent figure in the field of paediatric metabolic diseases, with a specialisation in lysosomal storage disorders (LSDs) and mucopolysaccharidoses (MPS). She serves as the Head of the Paediatric Metabolic Diseases Section and the Scientific Director of the Lysosomal Storage Diseases Research Area (Villa Metabolica) at the University Medical Centre in Mainz, Germany. Her work at Villa Metabolica, a renowned centre for the diagnosis and treatment of inherited metabolic disorders, has cemented her reputation as a leading expert in the management of these rare conditions.
Dr Hennermann's clinical practice is focused on providing comprehensive care for children and adolescents with a wide range of metabolic diseases.
