VOTTA, MARIANO

Mariano Votta is director of Cittadinanzattiva Active Citizenship Network (ACN), a network of European civic organizations which are involved as partners in its different projects, addressed to encourage active participation of citizens in European policy-making. ACN mirrors Italian civic participation organisation Cittadinanzattiva (Active Citizenship) and works on health, corporate social responsibility, education and training at the global level. It has its headquarters in Rome and a representation to the EU in Brussels.ACN’s mission is to promote and support the construction of European citizenship as “active citizenship” which means the exercise of citizen power and responsibilities in policy-making.
