Per Sangild is a Professor of Comparative Pediatrics and Nutrition at the Dept. Veterinary and Animal Sciences, University Copenhagen. He holds a PhD in physiology and Doctor of Science degrees in Human Medicine and Veterinary Science. His research focuses on the development of newborn animals and infants, including nutrition, microbiology and immunology. Since 2023, he has led the Danish Centre of Science and Faith (with Profs. Niels Henrik Gregersen and Johan Fynbo), investigating interactions between science and faith at universities.
