Olivier Phan

Dr. Olivier Phan is a specialist in adolescent addiction medicine and currently serves as Head of the Young Consumer Consultation at the Pierre-Nicole Red Cross Center in Paris. He leads both an inpatient addiction care unit for adolescents at the Students of France Health Foundation in Sceaux-Paris and an outpatient consultation service for adolescents with addictive behaviors at the French Red Cross center on rue Saint-Jacques, Paris.

With extensive clinical experience, Dr. Phan focuses on the assessment and treatment of behavioral and substance-related addictions in adolescents, including gaming disorders, digital overuse, and polysubstance use. He has developed tailored intervention programs that combine inpatient care, family therapy, and prevention initiatives, addressing the unique psychological, social, and developmental needs of adolescents with addictive disorders.

Dr. Phan is also engaged in academic research and education as an Associate Professor at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (UVSQ), Paris-Saclay, and a member of the Center for Research in Epidemiology and Population Health (CESP), affiliated with INSERM. His research interests include behavioral addictions in youth, clinical models for early intervention, and strategies to strengthen family involvement in adolescent addiction care.

He regularly collaborates on national and international projects, publishes in peer-reviewed journals, and contributes to clinical training programs for healthcare professionals working in child and adolescent mental health and addiction services.
