Dermatologist since 1990, she worked until august 2018 at the university hospitals in Leuven, Belgium, where she was responsible for pediatric dermatology. Main interest are pediatric allergic diseases (atopic dermatitis, auto-immune and auto-inflammatory diseases), and genodermatoses. She is the author of almost 100 articles, mainly in pediatric dermatology and has functioned as secretary and past president of the Belgian Society of Pediatric dermatology. Since September 2018 she has been a member of the pediatric dermatology unit of the CHUV in Lausanne Switzerland.
