Dr Michal Molcho is a Sociologist and Lecturer in Health Promotion, National University of Ireland, Galway, and the Deputy Director of the Health Promotion Research Centre (HPRC). She is the CoPI for the Irish HBSC, and PI on numerous projects on children health, and on prevention science. She is currently the elected chair of the Policy Development Group on the International HBSC network. In 2011 she was a consulted for WHO Region for Europe, the programme on Violence and Injury Prevention.Qualifications include B.A. in Criminology, M.A. in Sociology of Health and Ph.D. Sociology (2003).
