Christine Magendie

Dr Christine Magendie is a French-German paediatrician with extensive experience in hospital-based, developmental and primary care paediatrics. Since 2007, she has practised as a primary care paediatrician in France. She is the President of the European Confederation of Primary Care Paediatricians (ECPCP), having served as its French delegate since 2016 and Vice-President since 2023. She is also an Executive Board member of the French Association of Ambulatory Paediatrics (AFPA) and the International Society for Social Pediatrics (ISSOP). She holds a university diploma in planetary health and sustainable healthcare. As a General Paediatrician, she has a special interest in health promotion and prevention, with a particular focus on social and environmental determinants of health and children's rights.
