Dr. Aida N. Lteif is a Pediatric Endocrinologist at Mayo Clinic, specializing in pituitary, adrenal, and gonadal disorders in children. She is a Consultant in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism, where she contributes to multidisciplinary programs, including the peroxisomal disorders clinic, the transgender and intersex specialty care clinic, and the diabetes clinic.
Dr. Lteif earned her medical degree from Saint Joseph University, graduating with honors. She completed her pediatric residency at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse and pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. Her research focuses on optimizing diagnostic methods and treatment outcomes for children with endocrine disorders, ensuring that patients receive personalized, evidence-based care.
She has contributed extensively to clinical research, investigating novel testing methods for congenital adrenal hyperplasia and clinical outcomes for children with endocrine disorders. Her work integrates advanced endocrinology with pediatric care, refining therapeutic strategies for hormone-related conditions.
Beyond her clinical and research contributions, Dr. Lteif is an Associate Professor at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, where she mentors healthcare professionals in pediatric endocrinology and metabolic disorders.
