Professor Juliane Léger is a leading expert in pediatric endocrinology, serving as the Head of the French National Reference Centre for Growth and Development Endocrine Disorders and Co-Chair of the Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology Department at Robert Debré University Hospital, Paris. She specializes in thyroid, pituitary, and pubertal diseases, contributing to advancements in rare endocrine disorder management and pediatric growth research.
Prof. Léger has dedicated her career to improving diagnostic and treatment strategies for children with endocrine disorders, refining clinical guidelines and therapeutic approaches for growth hormone deficiencies, pubertal onset disorders, and congenital thyroid dysfunctions. Her research integrates epidemiological studies with clinical applications, ensuring that children with rare endocrine conditions receive specialized, evidence-based care.
She is an active member of the European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE), the Endocrine Society, and the Growth Hormone Research Society, contributing to international collaborations on pediatric endocrine health.
