Tanja Laktasic

Dr. Tanja Laktasić is a pediatric physiotherapist specializing in rehabilitation for children with developmental disabilities and rare diseases. She has dedicated her career to improving mobility, function, and quality of life for infants, children, and adolescents affected by congenital, neuromuscular, skeletal, and acquired conditions.

Dr. Laktasić earned her bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from the University of Applied Health Sciences in Zagreb in 2009, where she developed a strong foundation in pediatric rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions. Since 2011, she has been a physiotherapist at the Polyclinic for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation "Prof. Dr. Sc. Milena Stojčević Polovina", an institution highly specialized in pediatric rehabilitation. Her work integrates advanced physiotherapy techniques with individualized treatment plans, ensuring that children receive comprehensive and evidence-based care.

Her expertise spans early intervention strategies, motor function assessments, and rehabilitation therapies, helping children with neurological and musculoskeletal disorders achieve greater independence and mobility. She has contributed to multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with pediatricians, neurologists, and orthopedic specialists to refine rehabilitation protocols for complex pediatric conditions.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Laktasić is actively involved in medical education and professional training, participating in seminars for healthcare professionals and public awareness initiatives.
