Michal Kalman is a principal investigator of the HBSC Czech national team. He gained his PhD from Palacky University in Olomouc in 2013 for his research on policy analysis and physical activity. His primary research interests are population based approaches to promote physical activity and development of national strategy of active living. He has been participating in several international as well as national research projects funded by European Commission, Visegrad Fund, Czech Ministry of Education or Czech Ministry of Health.
