Dr. Anne-Lise Goddings is a Postdoctoral Clinical Training Fellow at the UCL Institute of Child Health, specializing in adolescent health and neurodevelopment. She integrates clinical pediatrics with neuroscience research, ensuring that young people receive evidence-based interventions for mental and cognitive health.
Dr. Goddings completed her medical training at Cambridge University and UCL, followed by paediatric clinical training in London, refining her expertise in child and adolescent development. In 2015, she earned her PhD at UCL, focusing on the role of puberty in adolescent brain development, under the supervision of Professor Russell Viner at the UCL Institute of Child Health and Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore at the UCL Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience.
Her research explores how puberty-related brain changes influence behavior, social interactions, and hormonal regulation, contributing to global discussions on adolescent mental health. She collaborates with leading research groups worldwide, developing and analyzing longitudinal datasets of adolescent neurodevelopment. Her work integrates structural and functional MRI studies, ensuring that scientific insights translate into clinical applications.
