Tamika Felder is a cervical cancer survivor, patient advocate, and nonprofit leader, serving as President and Chief Visionary of Tamika & Friends, Inc., an organization dedicated to cervical cancer awareness and survivor support. Diagnosed with cervical cancer at the age of 25 in 2001, she transformed her personal battle into a global mission to educate and empower women about prevention, early detection, and survivorship.
Tamika founded Tamika & Friends, Inc. to create a network of survivors and allies, ensuring that women affected by cervical cancer receive support, education, and advocacy resources. Her work has expanded into Cervivor, a groundbreaking initiative that amplifies patient voices, promotes HPV vaccination, and advocates for improved cervical cancer screening programs. Through Cervivor, she has trained thousands of survivors to become advocates for themselves and others, helping to eliminate stigma and misinformation surrounding cervical cancer.
Her inspiring story has been featured in major media outlets, including People, Newsweek, The Washington Post, and Good Morning America. She has spoken at global conferences, including G20, APEC, Davos, and the World Knowledge Forum, sharing her expertise on women’s health, patient advocacy, and healthcare equity. She has also testified before the FDA, advocating for advancements in cervical cancer prevention and treatment.
Beyond advocacy, Tamika is an award-winning television producer, author, and speaker, using her platform to educate and inspire audiences worldwide. She is the author of "Seriously, What Are You Waiting For? 13 Actions to Ignite Your Life & Achieve the Ultimate Comeback", a book that empowers individuals to overcome adversity and live with purpose. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the National HPV Vaccination Roundtable and is a member of the National Cancer Advisory Board, contributing to policy discussions on cancer prevention and patient engagement
