Dr. Christian Brickmann is a Senior Physician in Neonatology at the Clinic for Neonatology, München Klinik, and a researcher at Technical University Munich (TUM). He specializes in pediatric intensive care medicine, neonatal morbidities, and child protection, contributing to advancements in neonatal healthcare and epidemiological research.
Dr. Brickmann completed his medical training at the University of Marburg, where he earned his MD degree. He later worked at university clinics in Marburg and Freiburg im Breisgau, gaining extensive experience in pediatric and neonatal intensive care. In Munich, he serves as a senior attending physician at München Klinik, where he leads clinical care and research initiatives in neonatal medicine.
His research focuses on epidemiological aspects of neonatal morbidities, exploring risk factors, early interventions, and long-term outcomes for newborns with critical health conditions. He has contributed to studies on neonatal emergency care, including umbilical vein access techniques and neonatal circulatory support. His work integrates clinical neonatology with advanced medical education, ensuring that healthcare professionals receive specialized training in neonatal intensive care.
